On 08.06.2023, a special eye camp for all the general public and for the DEC Anbalaya special children was organised with the support of MN Eye Hospital. A general publicity was done by DEC Anbalaya staffs in the prior day to make them aware of this eye checkup camp. Cataract screening and general eye screening was performed by eye specialists from MN Eye Hospital, for adult and children were involved. Totally, 83 people in different age groups, from different walks of life, voluntarily participated and benefitted from this camp. Out of these 83 people, 5 cataract cases were diagnosed and sent for cataract surgery to MN Eye Hospital on the same day. Moreover, 27 people were advised to use eye spectacles based on spot screening results.
