DEC-Anbalaya Hosts 12th Interschool Sports Meet 2025 for Special ChildrenChennai, August 20, 2025

DEC-Anbalaya, a reputed NGO dedicated to empowering differently-abled children, successfully organized its 12th Interschool Sports Meet 2025 at the Babu Jegajeeven Ram Playground, Thondiarpet, bringing together over 500 spirited students from more than 15 special schools across Chennai and neighboring districts. The event commenced with a vibrant March-Past, received by Mr. Seethapathy Muthu Kumarasamy of Shetal Foundation, followed by the ceremonial Lighting of the Olympic Torch by Mr. Sendhil Murugarathinam, Senior Manager – Category Procurement, Caterpillar Inc. The meet was formally declared open by Advocate R.S. Ravi, setting the tone for a day filled with enthusiasm and celebration. This year’s theme, “களம் காணடா” – “Come witness the arena”, echoed the energy and determination of the young athletes.
