With the World Autism Day, falling on the 2nd April 2022, Dec-Anbalaya Special school held an event to commemorate this day. The management of the school, invited the parents of the children with autism, to sensitize them on how to be with them and how to treat them. Mr. K. Prabhakaran, Secretary of the Development Education Centre, graced the occasion. The therapist of the school, spoke to the gathering about autism and about autistic children. She also read a special poem dedicated to the children. Later on, the students enthusiastically participated in the activity of coloring their hands and stamping it on a chart paper. The parents with all interest participated in this activity with their children.
